Chocolate Protein Easter Cake
Here's a delicious and festive Easter recipe with chocolate protein
INGREDIENTS:
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder (we used Limitless Pharma Whey Isolate Choco Ferrerolicious)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 1/2 cup maple syrup or Swerve All Natural Sweetner
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Decoration (optional):
- Chocolate Easter eggs
- Fresh fruits (strawberries, raspberries, etc.)
- Melted chocolate
STEPS:

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a round cake pan.

In a large bowl, mix together almond flour, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add Greek yogurt, almond milk, melted coconut oil, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth.

Pour the liquid mixture into the dry mixture and stir until all ingredients are incorporated.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let the cake cool in the pan for a few minutes, then remove from the pan and let it cool completely on a wire rack.

Once cooled, decorate the cake with chocolate Easter eggs, fresh fruits, and melted chocolate as desired.
